About Ethiopia

Mennonites have been involved in Ethiopia since 1946.

Mennonite Mission Network’s involvement stems from the fact that there are thousands of Ethiopians throughout the United States, many of whom have Mennonite connections either with the church in Ethiopia or by means of educational institutions in Ethiopia.

Mennonite Mission Network related to "Friends of Ethiopia" for a number of years. Two results of this have been a partnership with the Department of Evangelism and Mission and informal relations with the Meserete Kristos College.
