About Senegal

The first Mennonite workers were sent to Senegal in 1996 as part of a partnership between Mennonite Mission Network, Africa Inter-Mennonite Mission, and Friends of the Wolof. The team encouraged the growth of the church in Senegal through discipleship ministries. These ministries have taken various forms, including telling the biblical story to small groups, initiatives in small enterprise development, work with women, and other initiatives focused on health-related ministry.
