Colleen and Pablo serve in Brazil, through PAZ International. After serving 11 years in Lábrea,on the Purus river, a tributary of the Amazon, in 2022 they were asked by the PAZ leadership team to spend shorter periods of time in multiple locations mentoring leaders, first in Apuí, and as of January 2025, in Humaitá.

Peacebuilding
Peacebuilders has been leading workshops on peacebuilding tools in different parts of the country. As we continued this work, we began to sense a deeper need: to reflect more intentionally on what Scripture teaches us about peace. In response, we launched a new course that is currently running virtually, with some in-person sessions as well. Our goal is to help Anabaptist congregations—and others interested in the work of peace—build a biblical theology of peace. Throughout the course, we are using various academic texts alongside Scripture-based reflections.
